The measurement data acquisition and control of most of our test benches is realised via LabView, a software environment that is well suited to automation and control tasks. This specialist knowledge and our sensor expertise can also be applied well outside the laboratory, so that we can develop and implement monitoring strategies with you for your existing test systems and production applications.

Hydrodynamic Journal Bearing Test

The videos show a radial plain bearing test in which the lubrication was deactivated after initial lubrication. On the left, structure-borne noise emissions in polar coordinates in time lapse and in regular test duration as FFT and waterfall diagram on the right. Clearly recognisable in both - the increasing AE intensity with increasing lack of lubrication.
